We had the opportunity to attend Al Quoz Art Festival, held on the 25th and 26th of January 2025 at Al Serkal Avenue. It is a remarkable celebration of creativity that draws art enthusiasts from around the globe. This annual festival, part of the vibrant Art Season, offers a unique space for visitors to immerse themselves in the diverse art experiences that define the contemporary culture of Dubai.
Witnessing one of the festival’s most compelling aspects, was the opportunity to connect directly with artists. Throughout the event, visitors could attend intimate Q&A sessions with both emerging and established talents. These interactions provided insights into the artistic process and philosophies behind their works, enriching the overall experience. Observing live art demonstrations allowed us to witness firsthand the craftsmanship and passion that go into each piece.
Living in Dubai for 12 years now, we have tracked Al Serkal Avenue evolving through the years. It’s known for its cutting-edge art scene, that was alive with new galleries showcasing exhilarating exhibitions. Each space brought forth a unique narrative, inviting exploration and contemplation. From thought-provoking installations to striking contemporary pieces, visitors had the chance to appreciate the depth and variety of artistic expression. The festival not only highlighted local talents but also featured international artists.
